I haven't read it because I can't find it anywhere. None of the libraries I haunt have it, and I can't afford to buy apparently-lovely books at the moment :(
I don't have a stance on illegally downloading things, because I'm too busy doing it to take any time out and think of the wide spread ramifications :p Link me up!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I read it a few months ago and was totally bowled over by how little self-pity he shows, how accepting and pragmatic he is about everything that happened, even if he brought some of it on himself.
There was an interview with him on the BBC last year where they asked him about the boy he falls in love with, Matthew; and Fry said that 'Matthew' had read the book and recognised himself, even though it obviously isn't his real name, and phoned him up to tell him that it was all fine and he was glad he'd mad him happy, or something like that. I thought that was so cute.
Apparently the next book will be about university and how he met Hugh Laurie and Emma Thompson. *bounces in excitement*

I can't afford anything at the moment, too. Woe! But it was a present, so I lucked out.
Btw, what's your stance on the whole illegally-downloading-stuff-from-intrawebs thing? 'Cause I might have an interesting link for you. :)
