My external hard disk is trying to die. Or maybe it is dead... Alex has just put it into the freezer for 20minutes in a final ditch attempt to bring it back

Oh no! Ugh, I had a system disk failure recently, but it was my C drive rather than my main storage drive. I got an entirely new computer though because my previous was eight or so years old.

I find that really interesting too! I hope the last attempt does work, enough for you to salvage stuff and back it up elsewhere.

Hope everything is bearable at work while you're waiting. *snugs*

Harris Technology (www.ht.com.au) is selling a 1tb Seagate drive for $169. That's an incredible special for 1TB, maybe you can get for future backups? And you don't have to worry about running out space that way...
