looking good! and more bookshelves are always on the list aren't they? ;) and a desk for the machine is always good... depending on what you are sewing and the size, can I suggest a small dining table more so than a desk. Makes laying out, pinning and cutting so much easier!
I have a small set of drawers under the end of my table (although it is large and can be extended!) to keep all my scissors, threads, pins bobbins etc... works well for me!
sounds like you have it covered then! I guess I am spoilt having a dining table in my sewing room!
always need more books!
at this stage waiting on the bank to finalise the loan. It has now been 4 weeks since we applied! Last we heard they had the valuation which was enough to cover the asking price, but seeing as they only have it in an electronic format they won't approve the loan til they have the original paper copy in their little file! hopefully tomorrow!
Sounds like you might be spoilt, in a good way of course! I think even if I did take over our old dining table (not the one we currently use) I'd have less table space that just clearing my current desk :S
Books are good. I wonder when the next lifeline book sale will be on...
Seems pretty dodgey that they are taking so long to get organised. I hope they get themselves into gear soon. Did the landlord/seller eventually realise Sydney prices were unrealistic for your place?
With the first home buyers grants, and the new more stringent testing they are doin git is no real surprise that the bank is taking so long and of course they have no wish to put extra people on to deal with the workload so you have no choice but to wait...
and we eventually talked the landlord down to $15 K under what he paid 5 years ago, which we think is a good thing! He probably thinks he won cause he got us to go $5K above what we said was our top price (hehe but wasn't of course!).. so all is good, just waiting on the bank!
