I just use LibraryThing but I had to pay once I went up over a certain number of books. It allows you to sort all sorts of ways though.

sorts by title? what a stupid idea.... My stuff is a little all over the place but I tend to have the stuff I read regularily at eye level and then others elsewhere. With the ex and the much larger book collection we sorted alphabetically by author, but he got 2/3 the collection, so things aren't quite so bad now.
