*smiles* My first memory of color TV is watching a small white spaceship moving over the curve of a brilliant orange planet with a black background. My parents had just bought a new color television, and the first thing we watched on it was Star Trek. I think I fell asleep in my dad's lap before it was over!

We always had a black and white tv. I had no idea that it started in black and white and switched to color till I got to college. I was quite surprised!

I was so impressed on Romper Room one time she had a wheel with a special pattern of black and white that when spun looked like colors and that illusion worked and I saw colors on our black and white tv.

Flying monkeys still give me the willies.

Will you be around December 12 -15? My sweetheart has to go to Houston for a business related thing and was hoping to meet up with Family for dinner or coffee or some such. There's a slim chance that I'll be with him.

Pfft...thought I was logged in.

Yes I would love to meet you both. We should be available to get together that week.

Wonderful! We still have to work out some details since that's the last week of the semester for Evan and he has to have a way to get back here (unless I manage to score him a car by then) and life/construction has gotten interesting.

I'm really hoping I get to tag along. *vbg*
