I'm so glad to have Jack back and to know that he can still inspire me to fits of writing, since little else seems to work for me recently. For anybody who hasn't watched the first 4 hours, there are spoilers, so be forewarned ( Read more... )

You never know what Jack's thinking. He always seems lost in thought though. Nice to get an insight into what's going on.

One question and comment.

That’s partly why the cold-blooded murder of the shooter had been so satisfying.

Would Jack think of this as a cold blooded murder or would he think of this as justice for David's murder? I think that Jack always feels his killing is justified. I don't think he would ever think of it as murder.

Just my opinion, you understand. And I enjoyed the read.

Glad that he can be a muse for you. That's always great.

Thanks for sharing.

That is a good question, but in the three cases I mentioned, yes, I do think that when he put them all together and looked at them and the circumstances, he could do nothing but see them as murder. Of course, he would think of it as justified, but it would have to be called what it was, and that is murder, and in extremely cold blood. He definitely had the choice not to pull that trigger in each case and very deliberately chose to kill. At the time, I don't think he would necessarily think of the acts as cold-blooded murder, but upon looking back at them and realizing the peculiar similarities, he could do nothing but call it murder.

Very glad you enjoyed the read. I certainly do enjoy the writing.
