to lucas' credit, he did sharply reduce the presence of jar jar in the 2nd and 3rd installments. a great disturbance in the force told him to do a little audience testing next time.

Thanks, Marshall. That is what I have been told. I am still trying to figure out what Lucas was thinking with that character.
I did, however, enjoy Episode I far more than I thought I would. It was still a little predictable and cheesey, but all of th StarWars movies have been in one way or another.
