Rant: Of de Facto Jokes and Democratic Dictatorship

I tend not to ramble about real life issues, but humor me here. I have alsee been away from LJ for the entire year, so in advance, I ask my fellow watchers and watched my apologies for not keeping up with you all.

The point of the matter is this:

So far, it's been steady, though those who have gone against the new government have "suddenly" disappeared. If anything, the international community will be able to charge those from the coup against human rights.

I'm actually more scaried about international retaliation than the civil war. During the coup, the militars also kidnapped the ambassadors from Venezuela and Cuba, from the actual embassies. Also, all relationships with the rest of America and part of Europe have been broken off completely, until the elected President has been reinstated to office.

Unless the new President does something even more radical, or the elected President asks support from the People within the country's boundaries, civil war will be held off. And either one is bound to happen eventually.
