I just realized how many people I know who say they love Jack Kerouac and have never read anything by him.. or who love him and don't know who Allen Ginsberg is. or anything about the beatniks, for that matter. in fact, most of the people I know who actually are versed in these two artists' works I've never even met. what the hell is up with that!

that is exactly my sentiment though. except you're, like, I don't know.. someone who actually reads. and I don't feel that way towards you at all. but I hate people who sit around and watch tv and then namedrop some "prolific artist" that they saw on some biography clip show. a love for emo and an ability to retain the name of who you're supposed to know does not an "out of the box thinker you make. or some shit. I just want to tell that to 97% of the people I know. (and you, my dear, are excluded by default). o, who am I kidding? hardly anybody I know listens to emo. but it doesn't make me hate the type any less. haha

maybe I am just under the influence, but what is convenient? I don't understand. is it that my mind is a train wreck? that would make it convenient to dislike people. haha. are you going to the B-52s today? is today today? I need some sleep.
