it's always strange to me how death of a familiar face (or as the case on this day may be for me, the burial of a loved one) brings out all the regret I might not have felt (or rather, noticed) otherwise. I don't communicate effectively how I feel towards people. sure, I'm honest (to a fault, at times) and I convey the general sentiments of the day ( Read more... )

this is such a touching entry hun and i completely agree. i have similar feelings and when i don't keep in touch with certain friends that were so dear to me i feel guilty and pained. i still feel if i lost certain friends it would be like losing a limb off my body. granted i would still be alive, but not the same.
