fun weather

it hasn't been above freezing for more than a week, but now it's nearly fifty degrees, so the world is melting! all of our scary roof-icicles fall with loud booms, and the outside world is a slushy mess! now it's thunder storming, but it's supposed to be below twenty tonight, and not above that tomorrow, so everything is going to freeze again like ( Read more... )

They're opening two H&M stores in Tokyo this year, and the way my job works they'd pay for me to go over there and help open one up.

One of my coworkers said that I shouldn't have to speak fluent Japanese to do this. Is this true? I thought you might be a good person to ask.

i'm not sure hun. what would you be doing? if you would be directly dealing with the customers i think japanese would be pretty important (i never saw a non-japanese/asian sales associate) but if you were more behind-the-scenes, i think you would pretty much okay.
that'd be a pretty sweet time if you could do it though, woo!
