I don’t remember exactly what age I was (10 or so I think) when I stayed up all night to watch WPXI Chiller Theatre’s presentation of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD on my first television (a 12’ black and white antenna-based unit), but I do know that the effect it had on me was so immediate and so profound that it's lasted to this very day.
