I've finally finished coding my layout, and what a pain in a bum it has been. sam_doc has been exceedingly helpful, as always, when I found a major problem in the layout- it completely messing up when I opened it in firefox. I don't use firefox but I know lots of people do, and I'd hate for them to turn up and not be able to navigate around the page. ( Read more... )

Gotta love Hugh on a bicycle! ;) Thanks- I think the colours are much warmer to match the colder nights. ;) I stare at this layout enough that I hope it keeps me warm. ;)

First of all, I did not help you, LOL, I only tired to :P But the layout work was all done by you and it looks so amazing! Wow, brilliant! You know, while I love the coding and understand it, I suck at combining colors and matching them. Basically I suck at the design!
But I love your creativity and what you can do!

Now if you are offering your services, I'd love to get a new header/OP pic, I like my current theme and the colors but I think the OP should get a renewal :)
Any ideas/suggestions? :)

OH you are totally selling yourself short. You knew where the problem was- with the float:center stuff, and you are so much technical go to girl. You deserve to be thanked!!

The design part comes with practice. Also looking at other people's layouts help- everyone has such great ideas and sometimes I don't even think about them. Then there are the layout creators who post them, they are amazing people and deserve lots of credit too- because without them I wouldn't even have any ideas!!

Well I love yours- but what are you looking for, a new image in your first post? See this is where it takes time, because there are so many suggestions! But I like how you have different fandoms all in one image. Something where they're all overlapping each other- similar to my old header maybe? I usually have the ideas come to me in the middle of the night- so let's think this over!!

Well I love yours- but what are you looking for, a new image in your first post? See? That's the problem because I don't know what I want I want. I want it to reflect the things/ships/people I love and also have something inspirational about it....

Yeah maybe we should think this over :D
