[fanaccount] JYJ World Tour 2011 in Bangkok - 2nd & 3rd April

Apr 05, 2011 19:17

I had just reached the airport at 12 pm on Friday, and after we checked in & had lunch we immediately reached the venue at about 3 pm. It was PACKED already, passerbys can barely walk through. Fans were screaming bloody murder at the slideshow that was being played on the big screen XD It turns out that the lucky fans were outnumbered by general fans like us, so it didn’t make much difference when they finally got in to their seats & we still stood outside. I was standing near the sound system on the right, fans kept going in & out which makes us stand even further each time. There were girls on the verge of fainting too due to heat & crowds.

My legs were shaking already by the time they announced JYJ was going to be late. I had no choice but to sit on a box that the staff kindly let me, and when the opening act started to perform I knew I had to find a way to see the stage which was impossible for my current position then. So I stood on the box and finally had a clear view of everything; the crowds & the stage. It was a happy ending but still uncomparable with the torture wait of nearly 5 hours (cuz the boys were an hour late & only showed up for a mere 15 mins instead of the scheduled half an hour). There were about 3000 people who showed up to watch them, so it was a huge success.

2nd April - Concert Day 1

I knew there was warning that the place was going to be jammed cuz there were a few events going on at once at impact, but never expected our trip there to be that long. We left Siam at around 1.30 but only reached the arena at freaking 3 pm and were kinda freaking out already. We immediately went to the ticket counter to exchange our online tickets but stupidly enough I forgot to bring the specified credit card. It took them another half an hour to search for our tickets and in the end the lady was nice enough to let the credit card matter go. PHEW! I was so nervous already.

We immediately started queuing on AR side, saw a LOT of adorable Yunjae banners around. The gates were scheduled to be open at 4 but it was delayed till 5-ish and the concert started a half hour late. It was worth it this time though. We were so close to the stage, there was only one person in front of us so it was technically front rows. Yoochun were on our side most of the time, so I took pretty decent cams & pics of him. He definitely looked at us at least twice seeing that the fans in front of me were his fans XD

The stage choreography was really awesome, there were a LOT of special stage effects like lasers, fogs, fire & fireworks and it really hyped up the crowd. Director Kim’s talent is really nothing to look down upon. The part that struck me most was when they sang accapella during In Heaven. I swear it sounds just as beautiful as when they were five.  I was really high from jumping & screaming Jaejoong’s name that when I left the venue I was totally refreshed. We then waited for their white van to come out for another half an hour, it turns out that Yoochun’s hand waved at us when they passed by XD

Fans were already camping out for the next day’s concert and I shook my head at their dedication. I still wanted the comfy bed at our hotel no matter how close I wanted to see the boys XD

3rd April - Concert Day 2

Such wonderful experience on first day made us switch our tickets from the original BL to AR again. We woke up really early and reached the venue at 9 am. The ticket booth only opened at 11 am so we decided to split and queue at both zones till it was confirmed that we can switch. We got a pretty good spot at the front considering many people lined up overnight. But it was pretty exhausting, my first time lining up for 9 hours. It was much warmer that day and I kept on binging food for the lack of sleep XD

The crowd were like twice the first day though. It was like a human traffic. Thank God our friends already queued up to buy goods, otherwise it would’ve taken us another 2 hours to queue. There were more Korean & Japanese fans and staffs with Backstage passes kept walking around and made us wanna rip their badge right off XD

It seemed like forever before they opened the gates at 6 (yes much worse delay on last day =__=) and the concert finally started at 7-ish. The security were much more strict today where in first day they let us fancam & take pics to our heart’s content it didn’t happen on the second day. Our assumptions are: they saw how good quality phones can take nowadays or they were gonna record the second day onto DVD as usual. Girls besides me weren’t even allowed to record with her phones anymore. But that was in moshpit, usually its more flexible on seating area.

Anyway Jaejoong looked off to me from the very start. I heard he barely got any sleep the previous night ( the vampire that he is) seeing that he tweeted at 2-ish, still had a meeting and swam afterwards =__=. Since I got the centre spot near him this time, I can see clearly his expressions & gestures and my eyes were entirely fixed observing him the whole time he was in front XD

He would get really sad and looked down at ballads songs, and at one point he made this gesture of wiping tears on his right face. Me & the fan besides me were looking at each other wondering if he really cried. But the next song was upbeat and his mood easily lifted up and adjusted with the songs so I guessed he was just into the lyrics.

At Untitled he missed his first chorus line and he was slightly out of breath. I really hoped it was technical problems though cuz he kept on fixing his ears. Also at Chajatta he was slightly off beat during his parts >_< he did great during the adlibs in the four new songs though. I really admire Junsu for his vocal stability and his amazing dancing talent. He really gives his all at everything he does and it totally shines through. He was chubbier then when I saw him last in KL & it was really adorable.

Jaejoong finally looked at us twice that day while Junsu looked at us once. You really can’t get enough of these boys. Even though you sacrificed financially, mentally and most of all physically, gets pushed around by crazy fans and queued like homeless people XD it’s still all worth it at the end.

4th April - airport drop-off

There would’ve been a story here if my flight difference with them weren’t for barely 2 hours T_____T

We were so emo-ing by this point that we laughed like maniacs at our imagination, pinpointing where they would be and memorising their gates, even begging the airline to delay for another 2 hours. We sleptover at Changi airport for transit, so that would be a total of 4 nights of barely getting enough sleep. It was a crazy trip alright but yay I’m back unharmed & alive ^___^
