JYJ 'The Beginning' Showcase at Kuala Lumpur (17 Oct 10)
We arrived at KLIA at 10 am to see them, and bodyguards & staffs were already around, only about 30 fans.
JYJ arrived an hour later, around 100 fans were there screaming then o_0
Jae stood out as usual with his reddish hair, his expression seems to be pissed but hey, that’s his usual airport expression ;p
Nevertheless my eyes were fixed on him the entire day.
We went straight to the venue after JYJ left, reached at around 1 pm. The weather was scorching hot so we stayed under the shades the entire time. By 2 pm when the event was supposed to start, they just started rehearsing their songs. Fans were practicing their screams outside, they’d just scream randomly lol. By the time I get to the album booth they’ve already run out of limited edition >_< bought a crappy red lightstick that fell out during the showcase lol
The event started at 3 pm and ended in a blink of an eye at 4 pm. My seat was similar to last year, fifth row again ^^ In the beginning Junsu was seen stretching backstage and he even waved at us, that adorable dolphin. After the second song, Jae bowed a little before leaving the stage. His body was so masculine, all that biceps with sweats. He’s always fixing his hair throughout the entire time.
Chun even said it himself during the talk, ‘is this the last question already? That’s too fast.’ They sang Empty twice, one remix and one for encore and damn that song really hypes up the crowd. The Malaysian fans were very enthusiastic & responsive and I think that was one of the reasons they were in a good mood that day. Jae was caught smiling a few times, and I was surprised at how clear his pronunciation was saying ‘Malaysian girls beautiful la’, except when he answered ‘summer’ (they’ll be back to KL next June for world tour!) me & my Mandarin speaking friend actually heard it as ‘shen ma’ (meaning ‘what’). We thought he was speaking Chinese and went o_0 until he repeated the word again XDD
We went straight to Hilton afterwards to register for photo-session, and saw 2 dancers from A-Z (which I assume they were staying overnight unlike the boys cuz they were wearing casual clothes). Man did we queue, the whole system was chaotic and we were told to wait outside the hotel whilst they made changes to announcement every 15 mins in a span of 3 hrs. Finally at around 7 pm we were allowed to go in a group of 10 inside (I assume to avoid chaos in the hotel). They had just finished their press-con at 8 so it was delayed for an hour. We waited in small rooms according to rows, but the numbers weren’t in order even though it should be.
At around 8 we were finally called and ‘bam’ in the hotel ballroom JYJ stood there like statues (for Jae more like porcelain figure/ those wax figures in Madamme Tussaud, I was doubting for real whether he was alive or not and I finally concluded it’s really him cuz his beautiful hazel eyes were moving). He was just stunningly gorgeous/ethereal/definitely more than just beautiful. His hair was perfectly styled, porcelain skin tone with coloured contacts and pouty lips, and he was putting both of his hands in front. He held an amused expression, and I was glad he was in a good mood as I heard the night before in SG he was black-faced.
My friend laughed and poked my shoulder cuz she said the expression I held at that time was so dreamy & starstruck whilst I called out ‘Jaejoooooongg’ in hypnotized tone in front of him, and even though he didn’t really respond (I should’ve said something else in Jap *smacks head*) I’m pretty sure he heard and saw me. I didn’t even realized she did it till she told me afterwards, it was like everything else blurred and he was the only clear sight.
Even after the photographer took the pictures I remember grabbing my friend and pointing my finger at him whilst saying ‘mannequin!’ whilst laughing nervously. That moment was very short but I stared at him long enough to engrave his face in my permanent memory LOL
We went straight to the airport right after the photo-sessions ended, and told the driver to speed as we have to arrive earlier before the trio did. It took us only half the time to reach there, and there were already 20-30 fans around. I decided to wait near the immigration entrance so I could take a good shot at them. A half an hour later there were already 300-400 fans and we heard screams and immediately followed the crowd, turns out we were waiting at the wrong entrance LOL (our brains were fried from exhaustion to even function) but thankfully I managed to catch them in time before they went down.
Su dressed exactly like Jae in black leather jacket so I was calling him Jaejoong the entire time, till my friend pointed out that Jaejoong was the one after him with the same attire LOL Jaesu looked like twins I swear! But the way he walked couldn’t be mistaken, the Jaejoong catwalk XD I’m so amazed at the boys (esp Jae) who still managed to wave at the fans after the hectic day they had. Jaejoong & Yoochun waved once whilst Junsu did it twice.
After 15 hours of chasing them (4 hrs duration to and back from airport) I was ready to faint. If I was this tired I simply can’t imagine how the boys feel? By the time I get back to the hotel it was midnight and I finally have a proper meal (room service) after snacking whatever I could find the entire day. However all that fatigue and exhaustion was worth it cuz I saw baby Jae four times in one day :p I’ll see u next year babe!
