I too must start writing down "stuff" and your observations are good, I tended to stick to writing mostly when I needed to vent at the end of a crappy day and write about a single day, so my live-journal is more a "historical moments of crappiness". And occassionally to balance that I may have put some good moments in too, who knows? It's old and outdated. I too should start afresh.
