What you have posted here is pretty much what I have taken the song for. It is... by far... the saddest song I have ever head. It's a song for anybody who didn't notice the dagger being plunged strait into their heart until it was too late... a dagger in the hand of a lover... or a best friend.
Seriously... I still get a little choked up every time I hear this song. I almost want to toss my two cents into this and give the analysis a little more depth... or maybe emotion is the word I'm looking for, but regardless, I think you got it.
i think when he says it's been too long and i will burn no more he's telling her fuck you bitch we're done! or he's promising himself he wont let her do this to him again.

I've found that it's much less related to the person that hurt you as it is to yourself. And it's not even so much a "fuck you bitch" response as it is one that you have when you know that it's best for the both of you if you cut yourself off. It's not something that is easy to do at all. But there is a point where you do it anyway. And of course, I state this because it's directly tied to the lyrics. lol.

I think my opinion is somewhere in between the two of yours. I dont think it's a fuck you bitch response, but I also don't think it was a best for both of you if you cut yourself off thing either. It just doesnt sound as if he really wanted to cut himself off at all but he realizes he has to because she'll just keep hurting him otherwise. It's him finally taking a stand and cutting her off, as difficult as that is. 'I will burn no more'
Also....Here's a question...Why is this song called Little Girls Pointing and Laughing?

That's what I was saying. yknow. "It's not something that is easy to do at all. But there is a point where you do it anyway." It fucking sucks, but it's the lesser of the two evils after a point. And I really don't know other than maybe it says that women have the upper hand over guys and they know it, so she destroys him.
