“Don’t Look Back To Costa Rica.”

Oct 01, 2006 16:41

So, I was at a party for about 14 minutes last night. And normally that number would be hyperbole, but I was seriously at a party for about 14 minutes before the police came. Which was fine, because we came back to the apartment with around ten people and drank anyway. It was fun, I had some epic, hilarious and profound conversations that will ( Read more... )

Jesus Christ, how do you remember these conversations perfectly when you are drunk off of only one shot of room temp. 151?

And i shall never be reduced to getting myspace/facebook. I'm an original Xanga girl, which I don't use anymore.

My memory is frustratingly persistent.

I have no idea why I was even drunk in the first place, especially considering the night before I had like 60oz of that frog juice and felt less drunk.

Get a facebook. It'll be a lot more convenient to stalk you that way.

I havent read your livejournal in a while, which makes me realise now- I really like the way you write! It's good, you're a good one! ha.

I didn't call you back. I didn't forget, I just realised that the night of, right before bed. And I made it worse by not calling you in the days after where I knew I should have. What is it about phones that is so difficult? Nothing. My lameness has never been more obvious I'm sure.

*gulp* College prep schools are hard when you are completely unmotivated and have no plans for even going to college...

like me. Fuck. fuck fuck fuck. It's not that the work is hard...it's just frustrating that I have to do it. Last night I was yelling at my math problems so much that a hall coordinator came in to tell me to quiet down.

Double fuck.

Talk to you soon, I'm sure.

PTW christian? anonymous October 4 2006, 01:42:58 UTC
if poison the well is christian and they wrote that song about jesus i'm going to cry and throw out their cd's, because like you say it completly ruins that song and many others. they have some lines that are on the alexisonfire level of heartwrenchingly beautiful and sad, and i just can't believe that some intangible holy being can make you feel as shitty or content as a beautiful girl can, and if it can do that to you...you're a douche and need to live(honestly almost every song on tear from the red has clearly got to be about some girl, not even the greatest liar in the world could spin a story on how they could be about god/jesus/buddha/wtf?). who is this source, i want their head on a stick.

I'd sever the stars from the sky
and place them in your hands
if I thought another wish
they'd see the light of day
but you stand beyond the sun
Beyond the reach of just a friend
maybe if i grew wings
maybe if you lost yours
these words would flow like water
if you'd let them scrape your heart
Not with in arms length
embedded within my concise effort
a silent cry
I receive no comfort
and as I collapse we remain nothing more than friends
As I hold my breath
a throat full of cement
I'm disgusted by repetition I accept this curse
of friendship / your friend / friendship

Obviously he's talking about an angel. It must be a Christian song. I can assure you the person who told me they were a Christian band, we already want his head on a stick. The thing about PTW and Alexisonfire is that they are the only bands I can think of that no matter how many times I've listened to their songs they still elicit an emotional response. And to think Moriera had only known English for 3-4 years when he wrote Opposite of December. It's amazing ( ... )
