Saturday was the Smash Tournament and even though I placed worse than I liked I had a really good time. I'm supposed to write a paper about Eternal Sunshine. Somehow I remember the movie having a happy ending (wishful thinking, I suppose) and when I rewatched it for class I was super-depressed for days. If the real ending was 'Terribly Depressing', I'm morbidly curious about the script.

But if you're lazy or just in the hurry basically what happens is *SPOILER ALERT* they cut a beginning and ending sequence that took place in the future. In the end, an older Clementine comes in to have the procedure done and a look at her screen shows that she's had the procedure done multiple times and all of them involved Joel. At the very end of the script, an older Joel calls Clementine to ask why she hasn't called, but the technicians performing the procedure erase his message. The last scene is just the technicians erasing Joel's message. Lordy.

hey, how often is there smash brother tournaments cuz my brother is like die hard and all that so he wants to know. he wouldve been at this one but there was a wedding he had to be at.

It just depends...Local tournaments don't happen very much but Alan hosted this one. If he's willing to drive out of state they are pretty frequent, but the drives are kinda killer.

Tell him to visit the regional section of www.smashboards.com, or the tournament section, it's an awesome resource.

Get on AIM? I haven't been on AIM in months, literally. You should know this. Unless you think I've blocked you or something lol
