I decided to watch Crowned, the mother daughter pageant reality show, because it comes on between America's Next Top Model and Project Runway... and my god. I want to go level the house they are all staying in while they're all in it. And this is coming from someone who voluntarily watches The Nanny

It was a terrible show, but I did like the part where the mother-daughter team's name was "Silent but Deadly." I'd like to think that moment wasn't fake.

NOOOO!!! It can't last that long! It's straight up not fair that I've been watching Scrubs for 7 years and now I won't even get to watch the last season.

I mean, I love bad tv shows to laugh at them, but some of this stuff is just too awful to laugh at.

Have you ever seen Little Miss Sunshine? I think it sums up pageants pretty aptly.

I need to see Little Miss Sunshine, I just never get around to it for some reason. But, sheesh, with the writer's strike I'll be able to watch all the movies I've been meaning to watch.

Pageants are terrible. I mean, they whiten their kids' teeth and get them tans. How hard is it to just hold a little informal pageant with the girl's friends and emphasize intelligence? Let them use their dress up clothes and pull an "everyone's a winner"? Do some relay races and have a tea party manners competition.
