Hairspray

Hairspray was the most amazing thing ever.

They didn't have a 'set', as such, instead they had screens that moved and stuff and changed pictures and everything so that it looked more real.

In the Edna/Wilbur part, the audience was cracking up so much that the actors were almost laughing themselves and they had to improvise and then Edna went full ( Read more... )

Hairspray is one of my favorite musicals. Sounds like this is a really good production that you saw. I saw the national tour when it was in Boston in 2004. The movie version does not compare to the play at all whatsoever. What is your favorite song?

I agree with you totally. The movie of musicals is always so horrid, I wonder why they even MAKE them.

My favourite songs are You Can't Stop the Beat and Good Morning Baltimore. I know that they are the songs that everyone knows, but I just love them so much, they are so easy to get in to.

Question, when you saw the show, did Link sing Ladies' choice?

Without love was awesome in the musical. Link was a bit desperate though XD
