Project Update

I have several drafts of that elusive one woman show but nothing works for more than ten minutes.  I’d have to fill an hour.  Someone suggested I take all the pieces and put them together but that makes no sense.  A one ( Read more... )

So is what you had in mind more in the form of a mock-lecture or paper, but maybe less didactic? At this point essentially it sounds like you'd be reading a large chapter of a book onstage or doing one huge monologue or something like that. Is that what you had in mind?

(Not asking in a judgmental way, actually hoping that asking this stuff might help you flesh it out more.)

One person shows tend to be dramatic story telling, if you've ever witnessed storytelling. And they are usually autobiographical or about someone very specific.

What I came up with required more production value or were cute bits but not the type you could extend out past ten minutes.
