Awww, poor Harry. But maybe someday I'll teach English IV, and THEN maybe I'll let kids read Harry Potter. But probably not, because they're too easy.

I didn't require it, but I did make them recite it on the first day of the assignment. And one kid did write it on his folder.

Oh man, back in the day I loved those things! Around 5th or 6th grade I was reading all the R.L. Stine and Christopher Pike that I could get my hands on. I blame them for my lingering fear of ventriloquist dummies.
