Nathan watched her over his glass--his had real wine in it, and a very good vintage. He didn't know why she didn't wear dresses more often; she pulled them off very well, in his opinion. He was dressed in a well-tailored, obviously expensive suit with a dark red tie.

He took a sip of his wine and set it down, leaning forward slightly. He offered a slight smile. "What about it? I think I might give it a shot, yeah," he said.

Victor so often dresses in gender neutral clothes or blatantly masculine attire that wearing a dress makes her feel a bit like a queen, and not in the blue blood way. But you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at her; right now she's projecting an ease that means she's back at the top of her game. "I think you should go for it. You'd be fantastic, and I have a really good feeling about it."

He smiled wryly. "I know I could do the job. It's getting elected that's the hard part." He took a sip of the wine. "My previous attempt probably hasn't left the public with a good opinion of my reliability."

A nod, she touches the neck of her glass, then lifts it to her lips for another sip. "Then that's what we have to fix. Public opinion. What... exactly are they opining right now?"
