Clark doesn't quite mind sticking out, just this once. While it's been most of his lifetime conditioning to blend in, disappear, don't be seen, this is way too amazing. And there's no way he wouldn't be noticed anyway.
The first thing he notices isn't any of the sights at hand, though. The sun tastes different, like it has a different accent than Earth's sun, still warm and yellow and welcoming, just different. "Isn't it gorgeous," Victor says, stretching her arms up above her head and tilting her chin back, her head up, scanning the very tops of the cliffs.
Something skitters in front of them, a phosphorescent lizardly creature that soaks up sunlight and expels it through its scales. It regards them with great solemnity before skittering away again.
Clark looks at it with the kind of wondrous eye he hasn't really had since he found out he was an alien. Everything looked so different then, but now, he's standing on an actual alien world, far from Earth or Krypton. "It is," he agrees, turning in a slow circle to look at everything, in every direction, and he kneels down to touch the grass between his fingers.
It is wiry grass, full of more nutrients than water. "Yeah." A highish, warbly call echoes through the cliffs and is echoed back by hundreds (thousands?) of highish, warbly voices, until it's almost deafening, though not painful. A surge of sound.
