For every moment I have of paralyzing self-doubt, I think that these days I have 10 of absolute self-confidence. No! I find out on August 1, silly! I start school the 6th, I... think. Or the end of August, I can't remember.

... psst, do you want to plan a visit for sometime early, so we, you know, actually do it? I will be so lonely! And you're too big for Boston, honey.

Sure. Want to plan on September? I'm going to an Elton John concert (WICKED EXCITED) one of those weekends..but I couldn't say which. I'll look into that, and we'll talk? You should probably see what weekend is good for you, too ( /unneeded advice).

And whenever you do start school, I'm sure it will prove to be fantastic!

September sounds great! Give me a couple of weeks to figure out even a tentative schedule, and then I'll get back to you. You do the same ( /my own unneeded advice!).

And I'm sure you'll do well, too! Hopefully your roommate will be better...
