Damn this transit strike. I really can't fathom shutting down the entire city's subway system for even a day - I depend on it a lot, and I have other options. I can't imagine the people who have to commute from - well, Brooklyn or the Bronx, I guess, because cabs are too expensive and NJ transit wouldn't be going there ( Read more... )

yes, $10.75 is WAY too much for a movie. but Narnia...good movie. i've started reading the books now, too.

I was going to curse and spend the $10.75 and just see Narnia, but since I'm going home in 2 days, I figured I could wait. $5.75 is a good amount of money to save, after all! I love the books, I was obsessed with Peter for much of my childhood. I've heard that he's pretty awesome in the movie, too.
