The Prestige

So, I saw the Prestige. Having read the book, and worked quite a few days on the film, it was really interesting to see what made it into the final cut. I am impressed with the way The Brothers Nolan (the writers) changed the story and details of the story from the book in order to make it all work in film

Oddly enough... “The Prestige” by Christopher Priest
It sold well in England and won the World fantasy Book prize (or something like that) but it was not so popular here, stateside.

It came out in 1996, but I read it after working on the film, and had trouble finding a copy. I bought mine on Amazon (used!:)) although a friend (who I carpooled with while working background together) found a copy at the local Barnes and Noble. It’s a good book and the ending will surprise you!
