So I got 5 A's and 2 B's giving me a 3.7 GPA. This was WAY better than I expected as I thought I'd get a C in psyc.

They'd be out of their minds not to give me financial aid. I'm on the fucking Dean's List again.

why the worker retraining people at SCCC encourage me to go into a program and now that I'm partway into it they can't help me with funding. They have done given me ZERO help so far since I was able to get another source of funding, but now that I desperately need them to cough up the $951.60 for tuition, I'm getting no answers. I spoke to my father on the phone yesterday after not having contact with him since 1996 only to find out that he's a "born again" Christian.

I'm a bit sickened...

But my father's younger sister found me on Facebook. For those of you who don't already know, my father an alcoholic who let his 4th wife kick me out of the house at xmas time when I was 17. Why? Simply because she didn't like me. My father just sat there and did nothing. This was in Phoenix, nowhere near my hometown where my Mom was at the time.

Can't sleep, I have my last psychology test in about 7 hours then my spring quarter will officially be over AND my tuition STILL is not showing as being paid because of no funding from opportunity grant but he assured me that worker retraining is going to cover it but worker retraining acted like I was crazy for saying that to them yesterday AND I ( Read more... )

Peter and I went this past weekend and saw The Hangover and Terminator Salvation. Was a total blast.

Peter got a buzz cut (not at the drive-in).

My last day of school is Tuesday except for the Psyc final exam I have on the 18th, then I am FREE until the 29th.

Now that my I only have a couple of things left to turn in for this quarter, I feel a big sense of relief.

However, tonight's class is in a smallish room that is stuffy when the temp is 50 outside. I'm not looking forward to it AT ALL. I'm gonna have to leave early and get a smoothie for during class. Hoping I can get it in the gallon sized
