Israel 2015
Here is my crazy schedule in Israel.
6 April - Herodion and kever Rachel with my sister and her friends,
who met us in the airport. Yaelly learned that sofo shel artic rizpa and enjoyed the BarKohva tunnels.
Crash by a friend in Yerushalayim. I miss the smell of the Yerushalayim air...
7 April - Ramot, kever Shmuel, playground. Modiin. Yaelly makes new friends fast and does not care what age they are.
8 April - Totally Israely hike that my friend is leading. Beerot, borot and gmarot. Heat, kozim and water splash and a picnic in the end!
Found porcupine needs! The beach in Netanya.
9 April - Park Utopia in kibbutz Bahan. Orchids were great, but the parrot and the deer stole the show. Yaelly fed the deer and
shhowed other kids where the grass is tallest :)
10-11 April - Yom tov and shabat in Kdumim. A tall teenager opens the door. Is that the baby on whose brit I was? Damn it, it is!
It was raining the whole shabat. Non stop.
12 April - A friend drove by from Einav with her 2 kids. We left the kids to play in the house and drove around Kdumim, as the sun showed up.
But I got rained out of Ein Gedi, as the road was unpassable, so we went to TelAviv to my sister. Her fridge was empty, so we went
food shoping.
13 April - This is when I was supposed to be hiking Arugot. Instead we went to park haYarkon and nahal TelAviv to see the sunset.
14 April - Apolonia and Arena mall. Yaelly filling her stroller with flowers, her back to the blue of the sea and the sky.
Playing SHrek in the crusader fortress.
Friends in Giveat Zeek haHadasha. They are going even haredier, if that is possible. The second grader told me that the Tora
is written in lashon ha kodesh, and ivrit was made up by the goyim. The kids remember me as wearing pants and reading them books.
Did I mention that Yaelly makes friends fast?
15 April - Naot Kdumim with a friend and one of the kids. They ran forward, showing the guy how to fly like an airplane. Ancient oil and
wine making, grounding spices, turning the water wheel.
Yerushalayim, that is so close by 443, to see my high school friends. We know each other for 20 years! And Yaelly makes
friends regardless of age difference.
16 April - Old city of Yeruhalayim: Kotel and machon haMikdash. Yaelly sang Yerushalayim shel zahav and drew the kohen's clothes.
NeveDaniel and my good friend there. Collecting shells on the beach in Herzelia and an attempt of my friend to eat with me
in a restaurant where they serve pork! Fu!
17 April - Nahal Taninim with good friends, restaurant like in the Berenshtein Bears book, moshav and the beach in Keysaria.
18 April - Shabat in TelAviv, city playgrounds, washing Bamba the dog.
19 April - wondering why am I boarding the plane.

It is interesting how the perspective changes over time. My prev trip was about Eli, the one before that - about Ruti.
This one was about Yaelly. THe previous trips contained a point of interest where I wasn't before. This one was about friends
rather than places. Here is to friendship!!!
