Scene:  Brice's apartment.  It is the living space of a newly-separated 35 year old.  The feel is "mismatched" and "loaner", but not dorm room, or frat house.  It is neither messy nor cluttered, and the furniture is of higher quality.  We join Brice and Dave in mid-conversation.

Long,  long day yesterday.  I finally got to see The Devil Wears Prada Tuesday night (with Matt).  Funny flick and excellent company.  Then I had a nearly sleepless thinking about my meeting last night.  I was prepared, cogent, and confident.  I know what qualities I bring to the table.  I can only sit, wait, stew, worry, and fret until Friday.  Oy ( Read more... )

What a glorious weekend with so much to be thankful for!  Very fun-filled and worthy of note.

Friday, I slept until 10AM - Ten hours of continuous, wonderful sleep.  Ah!  After work, I saw the Pixar movie Cars with some Chorus sisters.  Fantabulous movie!  I was fully impressed by the story, visuals, and the music.  A must see!
