I lost my wallet tonight. I believe this is perhaps the 20th time I've done so. I feel strange when I wear expensive clothes -- something between guilt and superiority. I think I understand why you'd feel sad, oddly enough. I tend to react a bit strange when someone offers me things.

So did you lose the wallet, misplace it, or get it stolen?

I lost it. But someone has returned it now. That's 4/4 in Toronto :P

That's awesome and surprising.

I remember Reader's Digest doing some sort of wallet losing study in a few cities in Canada, in the 1990's. I think they'd lose 20 wallets with a 20$ bill and a return address in a bunch of different cities and see how many of them would be returned with the money, without the money, and not returned at all.

Moncton had 20/20 with money left intact.
I'm sure if they were to do it again, they'd get completely different results though.
