I'll start with the obvious and say how much I adore your Courfeyrac- all warmth and goodhumor, so willing and so happy to pull people in and to make new friends. The last section is really my favorite, since it ties in so well with all of the other sections and you've got such a great grasp of Courfeyrac's character. This line- "Despite the laughter in his voice, it is belied by the seriousness in those bright green eyes, and he can't help but be impressed by this one singular truth that has been presented to him."- is just splendid. I think you've captured most of the Amis worldviews right there. They may be quite silly at times and they very definitely enjoy themselves, but behind it all, there is a seriousness of purpose and a dedication to the ideal that shines through.
Also, your backstory for Feuilly is just fantastic. I love all the details, how Feuilly makes awkward leaps in discovery and is constantly testing the waters- not out of timidity, but because he is trying to discover the truth.
Chase I'm going to start by apologizing for how awful my feedback/reviews tend to be but I'll follow it up by saying OMG ILU.
I think it's great how all these little snippets and scenes build up and add to Feuilly's character, it's really smashing. Also, YESSsssss - a tango reference! Loved it. <3
