Sony Vegas - Best Settings?

Feb 21, 2011 21:09

Hi, i think this is something we've all thought at least once if you use Vegas... what are the best settings to render a video in HD?

and by Best settings i mean - good image quality with a relatively small size (or at least not so big. )

So i hope this is allowed, but what settings and format do you use? avi? mov? mpg? bitrate?

My computer doesn't let me save in mpg anymore, but I believe I remember mpg being one of the smallest . WMV is also pretty good. AVI is one of the worst.

I always use these settings.

that's how i do mine, it does create a larger file at first; but once you bring it into mpeg streamclip it'll strink and you can delete the bigger file; my files are no bigger then 100mbs when i'm finished and that's with an mp4 format.
