Have you tried changing the extension on one of the files from .vob to .mpg as a test?

I know I've had other mates with problems ripping certain DVDs. I use DVDFab Platinum Plus and have never run into that particular problem. I believe DVDFab offers a thirty day free trial but generally those are limited in nature. You could try an older program called DVDDecrypter. It's not being updated but last time I used it (a year or so, I admit) it worked.

You could also check this site and see what they say: http://fpvideos.proboards.com/index.cgi?

They've helped me with a few problems.

Ok thanks DVDFab is on the list of 'the next programs to try' . I am using DVDecrypter but like you say it's not updated so perhaps can't cope with the newer dics.

Anyway thanks for your help.
