Splitting MKV Files

Hey - I was wondering would anyone would able to help me with a problem that I have been having.  I have Supernatural S1-6 on Bluray and have been ripping them to MKV files so I can cap and then covert to use for vidding.  However, season 1 and 2 will only rip all of the episodes as one huge file rather than separate episodes like seasons 3-6.  I

Avidemux might work? It reads mkv files and allows you to split it into clips.

Hi, I was just wondering if the program mention in this thread worked for you. I'm having the same problem and I really need to find something that allows me to simply rip the scenes/episodes I want without ripping the whole darn disc.

I actually ended up ripping them in scenes/chapters and then using mkvmerge to join them because I wanted all of the episodes on the disc and its just that they were being held as one massive file rather than 3/4 seperate ones.
