I got a new job! I don't really know how I feel about it yet. I am, however, glad that I will no longer be working in the restaurant service industry. Never again will I wait on another table (after December 23rd). This is a time period in my life that is ending NOW. Thank God. I can't take it much more ( Read more... )

congrats on your new job, that sounds really interesting. . so what exactly will you be doing there?

Thanks, Maleah! :) Um... I'm not really sure WHAT I'm supposed to be doing. I have only a small comprehension of my job right now. But, my position summary goes something like this: "The PCS performs routine patient care duties and select non-professional services under the direct supervision of the PCS Supervisor who, in turn, reports to the Charge Nurse". I have a 2 page list of duties and responsibilites here in front of me. So far, I've spent 2 days on the unit following another PCS around, interatcting with patients and learning how to chart their progress.

that sounds really neat, but I bet it's a bit scary at first, being new and all. . .I'm a psychology major, so I think this job sounds exciting. . good luck with everything! :)
