The pain, THE PAIN!

MY UPPER BODY HURTS SOOOO BAD. Sunday I worked out for the first time in over a year. I ran, I biked. I did the weight bench, incline weight bench, bicep curls, abdominal crunches and back extensions. Seems I went a little overboard. My body is so sore, it hurts more TODAY than it did MONDAY. I did Tea-Kwon-Do and kick boxing for many many years. In fact, I'm a black belt.

But, I think Aikido is a lot more difficult that tea-kwon-do and it's easy to injure yourself if one is not careful. Drink lots of water, put a hot compress over the sore muscles (maybe even a hot bath or shower), and take a muscle relaxer or a tylenol and that should help.

wow yeah I bet you are hurting. I didn't even have to finish reading the things you had done. I got about half way and given that you hadn't workedout in about a year I knew how bad it could be. That's a nice workout even if you had been working out all this time.
