So... I took it upon myself to spray paint the spoiler on my car!!! I don't really know what possessed me to do this, but I thought it might look cool flat black. Well, it didn't turn out exactly how I had imagined :( I over sprayed on one part, then tried to blot the extra paint with a piece of paper towel, and now there is a permanent imprint

You could probably try and use some sort of primer on it to start "fresh" and even-colored, then re-apply the black.

You could call a dealership and give him the year and model, i'm sure they'll have a key or a primer number. Just buy that and reapply.
