Apparently New York shuts down in the snow

So, it snowed yesterday. A lot for NYC standards, about a foot and a half was the estimate, although it seems like maybe a foot to me. I love the snow here. People do not efficiently know how to react to it. They close all stores early, they use umbrellas instead of hats, but it is beautiful, covering all that would otherwise look brown and
