I really have (went past 'need' ages ago) to watch the anime. I can't seem to get past episode 25.

But Fuji mentioned that opals dehydrate, I had to do a quick search. I really had no idea that they could get dry and crack. I love opals (my nose stud is a small opal) and I had a ring once but the stone fell out. It must've been a triplet 'cause it wasn't that expensive and the top was shiny and rounded like a triplet. So thanks for piquing my curiousity!

I get the hint now. This looks like it's gonna be a long series since their relatioship is just starting. It may sound cruel but I really can't wait to read exactly what makes Fuji sound so detached in his narrating. I'll wait patiently, though.

The opal isn't exactly canon. But the necklace is. Tezuka usually wears a coiled necklace. And, well, I thought it could be an opal since he's born in October.^_^

Ahh...a triplet. Well, I had to do opal research before writing that chapter.^_^
