In absolute silence I stand in your arms watching the city below. It is beautiful and we are finally safe. No more living in fear of police sirens, no more living in panic whenever the door would knock. Nobody knows we are here, nobody knows what you did to that kid, nobody but me, and why would I tell anyone for I am your girl.

You gently release me and tell me your going to bed, I tell you I'll be there in a moment and in the glass I catch a glimpse of my reflection, the face he sees, it isn't me. She smiles up at him and asks if he had a nightmare, she nods sympathetically and whispers in his own voice, 'Dont worry now you will have no more fears' and the last thing he sees is flame wreathed hands clutching a pistol being pointed directly at his skull.
