So I need opinions on the following statement:

It's necessary and okay  to sacrifice some of your integrity to get ahead in your career and life.

it's not necessary, but i guess it's okay since so many people do it.

i think there are a lot of standards that we are made to live up to that aren't necessarily what we want, and certainly what we need. no one can tell what another's "success" would qualify as, though we have a societal definition for it anyway.

i think you should do it though. give up your integrity.

it is necessary and ok. the world doesn't hand out unicorns and pots of gold to people who are naive.

however, it depends on how you do it and whether or not you will regret doing it. and you shouldn't think too far in the future, else you get burned.
