Rewatch "Father and Daughter" after a while. And the impression this short film gives me is still the same as the first time I watched it 9 years ago. The wheel spins slowly, lightly, just like life still goes on. And no matter what happens, that girl will wait for her father's come-back, with love, with hope.

It is such a heartbreaking story! I don't even know how to describe it, but it was overwhelmingly sad watching how the girl waited and waited and never got a word from her father :'(

Where did you find this short film? Do you know more movies like this? And, of course, thank you for sharing with us this "life lesson" :)

This one was shown on TV around 2001, and I've loved it since then. It also won an oscar for short animated features in 2001. You may want to try "La maison en petit cubes" or "The lost thing". There're some more but I highly recommend these two xD. They won oscar, too.
