The English department specifies Times, so you're lucky you can use Courier. In fact, every class I've ever taken at CSU has specified Times and said no Courier, so you must have, like, the one teacher who doesn't care XD. Lucky! :D!!

What's good about Courier isn't the size (it's the same size, height wise), but all the letters take up the same amount of space. In Times, not all letters take up the same amount of space, some take up less, so more words fit on a line and there are less lines in the paper. Courier spreads things out. Fun fact: It's the preferred font of manuscripts. Who knew?

... and if that's the case, why won't the English department accept it... huh? ... HUH, ENGLISH DEPARTMENT?!

I sleep now.

LUCKY
I have to use Times on all my papers, and APA format, which means, like, WALL OF TEXT.

...
LOL

Hopefully your professor won't care. Have you already done this before for this professor? :D

I've always used Times too, honestly.

And I don't know. A classmate told me he had used it on his and the teacher didn't mind. So I'll try it. *shrugs*
