I just took the worst test ever.  Not because it was hard (cause it wasn't) or because I didn't study (which I didn't) or even because I didn't do the reading (which was also not done).  I'd have prefered any of those things.  But this . . . this is just a piece of crap.

A Background:
This is a 200 level religions course called Perpectives of Death and Dying.  Just to make sure I wasn't going completely insane and signed up for the wrong course, I looked at the course catalogue again.  This is what it says:
REL 251 Perspectives on Death and Dying (4-0-4). Interdisciplinary examination of death and dying as seen from the viewpoints of religion, psychology, biology, and law.

You'd think that a course in this department, with something along that description might, I don't know . . . talk about the religious perspectives associated with death and dying?  Maybe cover a little of underworld mythology and burial rituals.  Something?!
But no.  Our professor is an idiot who seems to think that we've all taken this course in order to learn how to fucking cope with the prospect of our own deaths and the deaths of others.  His teaching method is roundabout at best, consisting of personal opinion and a bunch of stories that accent his points, but tell us nothing.  The semester is half over and I have less than one page of notes.  Which is a list of the stages of dying.
He has already completely dismissed the religious aspect, has only mentioned euthanasia and I'll be damned if anything coming close to biology has been mentioned.  He's given us opinion.  His opinion.  I did not sign up for this course to be preached at.

So this test.  55 multiple choice questions where he asks us to tell him what he said.  He tested us on how well we knew his opinion?!  What the fuck is that supposed to be?!  I don't think I've ever been this pissed at a teacher, and that includes the one who asked his college classroom if we knew what "capsize" means in relation to a boat.

I'm better now.  Well, sort of, cause I'm still pissed, and I still want my money back.  BTW, no one ever take a course by Edward Brennan unless the above sounded appealing.
