Um yeah, I don't really update this thing anymore do I? Loss of interest, loss of new things to be excited about, and the fact that so many people aren't on themselves it just isn't keeping my interest. Plus, I'm on so many networks now it's hard to keep up, and LJ likes to fall into the cracks

I live just a block north of High Park station if you want to bring people here... we have a BBQ patio and stuff, though the apt itself is fairly small (I don't mind up to 10 or so people here though).

Whoot! That would work WONDEFULLY. I'm not planning on having the whole cast cram into the space, but a backup indoor spot for makeup and setting up would be brilliant. ♥

I avoided it for *AGES*. I wasn't interested, the fandom read 'Hetalia' to me, and while I won't knock what people like I really have issues with the hetalia fandom and figured it'd be the same....
Instead I found a fantastic story with one of the most welcoming, nicest, most *engaged* fandoms i have ever experienced. It absolutely has blown me away - I'm writing fic for the first time in years, cosplaying - HS took over my headspace, and I am a happy camper. XD

And you'd make an AWESOME Dave.

Yes! I was much the same. I have some issues with the canon itself, but jesus I'm writing fanfic man! REAMS of it! I LOVE the roleplaying community, and for the first time in a fandom I've felt, idk, supported. I had some serious problems with my housing situation and stuff and the fandom actually tried to get up and come through for me -- and they do this for everybody, no matter how unknown they are. It just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside.

I gotta fix my financial situation, but at the very least I want to do some casual cosplay (the T-shirt 'n' jeans) and then maybe go for the suits. If I had funding and sewing skills I'd do my AU Dave (Dave Lalonde) but ahahaha what is money and time.

The BNFs of the fandom are really welcoming, great people too; I'm somehow now good friends with both Dellaluce (semi-prominent fanfic writer?) and Toby Fox (he like... lives down the street from me as it turns out)
