Since Netflix has been so good to me, I thought I would share some of the benefits! And I also thought it would be a good idea for me and my often faulty memory to keep track of some of the things I've seen...heh ( Read more... )

I haven't seen Amadeus but I have it on my Instant Queue. But I have about 37 films on my instant queue so it might take awhile for me to get to it. :)

The Nostalgia Critic did a pretty funny review on Twister and why it's such a silly movie.

Amadeus was good. We watched it in history class--afterwards the teacher told us all the things wrong with it (Braveheart got the same treatment), but it was good.

Yeah, you just gotta accept the historical liberties they take...Braveheart has some pretty funny ones, like that French princess he sleeps with in the movie. It would have been some pretty extreme pedophilia if it had actually happened!

In Braveheart they had the Battle of Sterling Bridge without the bridge. What actually happened sounded way more badass.

So true! My history prof spent almost an entire lesson just talking about William Wallace and that battle in particular...it's a great story!

In 1997, Anthony Quinn bought a calendar from me when I worked at Waldenbooks in the local mall. He was stunned that such a young person recognized him. (I was 20.) LOL!
