On Saturday, I left with only a copy of The Wasp Factory from the Sciffy library in my bag. I returned with a signed copy of Consider Phlebas, a copy of The Fifth Elephant (which is one of few Discworld books I didn't already own), Star Maker or something by Olav Stapleton and four other books

Just because it is such an unusual name? Blame the Americans, I say. Besides, it's not like you do not already know people with weird names, so the fact that one would have the same weird name as you is not that much of a stretch.
