A strange stork, wearing socks was stealthily sneaking up on some celery plants, to harvest for some soup, hoping he could get past a pair of hunters who had been relentlessly following him.

One of the hunters was thin and had a stiff way walking; the other was a bit overweight. The first hunter seemed to be a business man taking a vacation from investment banking. The second one’s talk showed he was advising investing in Overstock dot com.

So the stalking and stocky stockbrokers stalked the stork in stockings who was in turn stalking the celery stalk for stock.

Very cute. I think you managed to stop the competition dead in their tracks.

She wore a badge, presumably a passkey for work, which offered her name. First up was the standard Google search, which provided some pictures and a little bit of info. Facebook helped much more, although having to create an account name as someone from her high school was a pain in the neck. Only way to get friended, though.

That showed a cell phone number, which I traced to a credit card and then to an address. Got some great shots of her with my zoom lens. I'll introduce myself tomorrow.

The internet makes it so easy to meet people!

(So, somehow my Schmoo avatar got hijacked by some strange dude's face and I had to delete and remake it. Is there really a demand out there for LJ avatar viruses?)

Met J. today. Very intense, very interesting! Likes the things I do? Has potential.

J. loves photography. Asked if I wanted candid portraits, joked about a shrine. So romantic!

J. surprised me with flowers at work. Magical. How does someone know so much about me that I haven’t told him? Like soulmates.

Best friend doesn’t like J. Best friend has no taste. Dropping her.

Snuck a look at his browser. My FB & Classmates & blog are all bookmarked. Is he in love??!!?

Going to J’s cabin for the weekend. Says he has a secret surprise for me. Can’t wait!

Fail

The character, not the story. The story works very well

Well, not every protagonist is a suspicious and paranoid individual...

But yeah. She seems particularly, inappropriately clueless. Love is blind.
